The ASUS ROG Ally gaming handheld was officially launched on May 11. The overseas price of the Z1 Extreme version starts at US$699, and the Z1 version starts at US$599.
Tianma Microelectronics announced today that Tianma has exclusively provided a 7-inch 1080P full HD, 120Hz high refresh rate gaming screen for the ROG handheld, with a response speed of 7ms, and supports FreeSync Premium adaptive synchronization technology.
According to reports, the screen also has a brightness of 500nits, supports ten-point touch, and can achieve 1080P resolution and 60 frames of play.
In terms of hardware, the ROG handheld is equipped with AMD’s new Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor, supports super-resolution technologies such as AMD FSR and RSR, and is also equipped with 16GB LPDDR5 6400MHz dual-channel memory, 512GB PCIe 4.0 solid-state drive, and UHS-II microSD card slot.
In terms of software, the ROG handheld is equipped with a Windows 11 system and can support gaming platforms such as Steam, Epic Games, Xbox, and GOG Galaxy 2.0. At the same time, for handheld users, the ROG handheld launched the Altron Smart Control Center SE, which automatically enters when it is turned on.
