Recently, at the 2022 TGS (Tokyo Game Show), some players discovered a unique Switch accessory. The accessory, developed by Japanese game accessory maker “Daimler”, can stream computer games on the console by plugging into the Switch cassette slot.
From the live demonstration, through this streaming card, the Switch successfully ran the PC side of the “Lost” screen and can be operated directly through the joystick, except for the volume of the streaming card than the Switch cassette longer than the cause will protrude a cut, almost will not affect the normal use of the machine.
At the same time, according to the manufacturer’s instructions, this streaming card can be used by simply plugging it in, and does not require a hack of the Switch console, which undoubtedly significantly reduces the threshold of use and attracts more users to try it.
At present, this product is still in the concept design stage and has not yet been officially approved by Nintendo, but sources point out that an official Nintendo person visited the booth at TGS 2022 and was interested in this product.
This means that it may not be entirely impossible for it to gain Nintendo’s approval and thus go into mass production.
