The world’s most popular mobile game revenue TOP10 in March

Sensor Tower store intelligence data show that in March 2023, Tencent’s “Honor of Kings” attracted US$215 million in the global App Store and Google Play, Consecutively topping the global mobile game best-selling list (this data does not include third-party Android channels).

Tencent’s “PUBG Mobile” (combined with the revenue of “Peace Elite”) ranked second on the list with a revenue of 139 million US dollars, of which 65.6% of the revenue came from the Chinese iOS market, and the revenue from the US market accounted for 8.7%, the Saudi Arabian market accounted for 2.8%.

Mihayou’s “Original God” ranked third on the list, with 50.2% of its revenue coming from the Chinese iOS market, 20.2% from the Japanese market, and 9% from the US market.

The other two games on the top five list are King “Candy Crush Saga” and CyberAgent “Uma Musume Pretty Derby”.

In March 2023, global mobile game players will spend nearly 6.5 billion U.S. dollars on the App Store and Google Play, a month-on-month increase of 6.5%. The U.S. remains the world’s highest-grossing market for mobile gaming, contributing more than $1.8 billion, or 29.2% of global total revenue. The Chinese iOS market ranks second, accounting for 18.4%; the Japanese market ranks third, accounting for 18.2%.
