The standard Apple Watch Series 8 is rumored to have the same case design as the Series 7

According to Twitter user @ShrimpApplePro, the standard 41mm and 45mm models of the Apple Watch Series 8 will feature the same design as the Apple Watch Series 7, after he was the one who first revealed that the iPhone 14 Pro model would feature a new round + pill hole display.

According to @ShrimpApplePro, titanium won’t be an option for the standard Apple Watch Series 8 model either. Previously, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported that the new, higher-end “Extreme Sports” version of the Apple Watch Series 8 will have a titanium case, so titanium will still be available throughout the Series 8 lineup. The “Extreme” model is also expected to have a slightly larger display compared to the standard Series 8 model.

@ShrimpApplePro says their sources also don’t think the standard Apple Watch Series 8 will have any new sensors, and the series will reportedly enter mass production this month.

The leaker says that color options for the Apple Watch Series 8 will include Midnight, Starlight, Silver and (PRODUCT) RED for the aluminum models, and Silver and Graphite for the stainless steel models. this will be less than the colors offered for the Series 7 models, which also offer Blue, Green, Space Black and Gold finishes.

The Apple Watch Series 8 model is expected to be released in September along with the iPhone 14 series, and watchOS 9 should be released in September as well.
