The New Doogee’s S98 Pro Teases Late May Launch

0

Doogee, back in February, announced the S98 with the promise of adding 2 more variations, dubbed Doogee S98 Pro and S98 Ultra. The S98 was officially launched last month and went on to perform well according to the company’s standards. Now the S98 Pro specs have been leaked, and we’ve got the scoop.

The rugged phone comes with an IP68 and IP69K rating against water and dust ingress. It also has a MIL-STD-810H complaint.

Design-wise, the phone’s camera bump on the back is alien-inspired. A back case also has alien designs, and when combined, the alien look is completed. This case will be bundled together with the phone.

The company claims this is the best camera set for work phones. On the bump, you will find a 48MP Sony IMX582 primary camera, a 20MP night vision camera, and a thermal imaging sensor from InfiRay. A 16MP Samsung S5K3P9SP will be responsible for selfies.

The MediaTek Helio G96 processor will handle performance with the help of 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

The display is a 6.3″ FHD+ LCD display with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass for protection from scratches. It also sports a 6000mAh battery with a type-C 33W fast charger. However, it also supports 15W wireless charging.

Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, NFC, custom button, virtual toolkit, and the phone will run Android 12 out of the box.

The Doogee S98 Pro is expected to launch in late May, but we don’t have much information about its price or where you can order it.
