The European market has seen a rapid rise in motherboard prices over the past few years

According to a major European retailer, the average price of motherboards such as MSI, Gigabyte and ASRock has spiked rapidly over the past few years, surpassing even the ongoing inflation spike that began in 2021.

In its latest tweet, TechEpiphany shared motherboard sales data from MindFactory last week and said there is a huge difference between the average selling price (ASP) in November 2020 and March 2023.

The average cost for a consumer to purchase a motherboard supporting an Intel processor in November 2020 is 140.78 euros (currently about 1049 RMB), while in 2023 the average motherboard cost reaches $197 (currently about 1355 RMB), an increase of 39.93%.

The average cost of an AMD-enabled motherboard for consumers in November 2020 is 120.50 euros (Currently about 898 RMB), while the average motherboard cost in 2023 is $163 (currently about 1121 RMB), an increase of 35.3%. -The
