BYD’s 500,000th Song PLUS DM-i has rolled off the assembly line in Xi’an.
According to reports, from the launch to the 500,000th vehicle off the assembly line, it took less than two years for the new energy vehicle series Song PLUS New Energy of BYD Ocean.com to become the fastest new energy SUV model of a Chinese brand to achieve sales of 500,000 units.
At present, there are 7 models of BYD Song PLUS DM-i on sale, ranging from 154,800 to 218,800 RMB; 2 models of BYD Song PLUS EV are on sale, priced at 186,800 RMB and 203,800 RMB respectively.
With the roll-off of the 500,000th BYD Song PLUS, BYD also launched new discounts and benefits for users. According to reports, if you order “Song PLUS DM-i” or “Song PLUS EV” before March 31, you can enjoy 88 RMB to deduct 6888 RMB in benefits.
As of early March this year, the cumulative sales of BYD Song PLUS vehicles exceeded 500,000 vehicles. Among them, the sales volume in January 2023 is 35,741 units, the sales volume in February is 37,961 units, and the cumulative sales volume in 2022 is 365,102 units.
The BYD Song PLUS series will be launched in March 2021. Previously, there were three models: Song PLUS EV, Song PLUS DM-i, and Song PLUS fuel version. The Song PLUS DM-i hybrid model is equipped with a 1.5-liter hybrid dedicated engine + electric motor. The official feed fuel consumption is 4.4L / 100km, and the comprehensive cruising range in hybrid mode exceeds 1000km.
The pure electric version of Song PLUS EV is equipped with a motor with a maximum power of 135KW, a maximum torque of 280 Nm, a blade battery of 71.7kW·h, and a cruising range of 505 kilometers (Under NEDC comprehensive working conditions).
