The first batch of 10 Tesla Supercharging stations will be open for 37 non-Tesla models.
BYD, Azera, Extreme Krypton, Ideal and Celes are all able to use Tesla’s charging pads.
For a long time, Tesla’s Supercharger stations were only available to Tesla drivers, and at the end of 2021, Tesla launched the “Charging Network Open Pilot Program” for non-Tesla vehicles in Europe, which is now available to owners in more than 10 countries and regions around the world.
It is worth mentioning that in March this year, Tesla’s first V4 Supercharger station was officially opened in the Netherlands. During the pilot phase, the station was only available for Tesla models. However, Tesla has announced that its V4 Superchargers will be open to all-electric vehicles, which could help the company’s charging business grow.
To date, Tesla has laid out more than 1,600 Supercharging stations and more than 10,000 Supercharging piles in mainland China. Together with more than 700 destination charging stations and more than 2,000 destination charging piles, the charging network has 100% coverage in all provincial capitals and municipalities.
