Tesla’s 500-mile Semi to begin delivery this year, Cybertruck a year later

Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced early Wednesday morning EST that the company will begin shipping the Semi truck with a range of 500 miles (804 kilometers) this year, and for the Cybertruck with the same range will be shipped in 2023.

Tesla presented its Semi and Cybertruck in full at its recent annual shareholder meeting at its Austin superfactory, and as for the Cybertruck, Musk acknowledged that the futuristic truck will not cost the same when it launches in 2023 as it did when it was first announced.

Musk shared details about the Semi truck, which will carry a 500-mile range this year, in a response to his “Master Plan, Part Deux. As for the third part? Musk says it’s coming soon, and he also notes that it will be about scaling up sustainable energy at a civilized level.
