Tesla plans to hold its 2023 Investor Day on March 1, 2023, at its Texas superplant, foreign media reported on Jan. 4.

The company said it will live-stream the event and invite some institutional and retail investors to attend in person. Tesla investors will be able to see its state-of-the-art production line and discuss long-term expansion plans, third-generation platforms, capital allocation and more with the company’s leadership team.

Previously, foreign media reported that Tesla was expected to announce the location of its next mega factory by the end of 2022, but no announcement was made until the end of 2022.

The latest reports from foreign media say that Tesla will announce the location of its next super factory at an investor day event in 2023, or even during its fourth-quarter earnings call in 2022.

Tesla has reportedly been seeking to build its next super factory, and South Korea is one of the most likely candidates. in late 2022, foreign media reported that all major local governments in South Korea are preparing for potential sites such as Tesla super factories, and they have submitted information on potential sites.

In addition to South Korea, Canada, Mexico, Indonesia, India and Thailand are also possible sites for the new factory.
