Tesla’s updated online configuration shows that the Model S Plaid and Model X Plaid will begin deliveries in Europe in December 2022, according to foreign media reports.

This news indicates that Tesla has been able to enter mass production at its Fremont plant and is now able to gradually meet the global demand for the Model S and Model X.

Tesla China, for its part, has not yet announced delivery dates for the two models.

Description of the two models.

The Model S Plaid version, with three-motor all-wheel drive, has a 100km acceleration time of 2.1s, a top speed of 322km/h and a range of 637km.

The Model X Plaid, also with three-motor all-wheel drive, has a 100km acceleration time of 2.6s, a top speed of 262km/h and a range of 536km.

The foreign press reports that both models will have new interiors, powertrains, thermal systems, electronics, full chassis and many more improvements.

Ideally, the Model S Plaid can achieve 100km in less than 2 seconds, which is usually the case with purpose-built race cars and million-dollar supercars. And the Model X Plaid is capable of reaching highway speeds in 2.5 seconds, faster than some of the supercars on the market.

In Germany, the Tesla Model S Plaid starts at €137.990 million, while the Model X Plaid starts at €140.990 million. In the U.S., the two models start at $129,990,000 and $138,990,000, respectively.

Tesla says that only these two Plaid models are expected to begin deliveries in Europe by the end of this year (November or December), with deliveries of the dual-motor version starting later this year, sometime around 2023.

Tesla enthusiasts tweeted that the expected delivery date for the Model S Plaid in Germany is December 2022 – February 2023, while the Model X Plaid has a similar expected delivery date in Germany as the Model S Plaid.
