Tesla today on its U.S. official website shelves the new Model Y electric car, equipped with AWD (dual-motor all-wheel drive) power system, priced at $ 49,990 (currently about RMB 344,000).
The new Tesla Model Y has a reduced range and acceleration performance, with a range of 269 – 279 miles (currently about 432.91 – 449.01 km) and a 0 – 60 mph acceleration time of 5 seconds, according to configuration information.
The Model Y LR was lowered from $54,990 to $52,990 (currently about RMB 365,000); the Model Y P price was lowered from $58,990 to $56,990 (currently about RMB 392,000).
Currently, the Model Y is not yet available on Tesla’s domestic website, and the current low-cost version of the Model Y is a rear-wheel drive version, priced at RMB 261,900.
