Tesla 2022.40.4.2 software version is now online, today open batch push.

In the 2022.40.4.2 software update, Tesla software has made network security vulnerability fixes, optimized for NFC vulnerabilities, and optimized the stability of the display process, the performance of the lights after the vehicle wakes up, and the performance of kinetic energy recovery.

Tesla has also optimized the temperature system control during DC fast charging for the power capacity of each charging station, improving charging efficiency, and battery temperature preset efficiency along the way, resulting in shorter charging times and lower electricity costs.

In addition, a redesigned Supercharger map pop-up window now displays past charging station occupancy and associated charging costs. The Tesla Map Pack version also received an update that will open a batch push.

The main elements of this software update are.

  1. Cybersecurity vulnerability fixes, optimized for NFC vulnerabilities.

Adding a new key requires user confirmation on the car interface.

Not allowing to add new keys in valet mode.

  1. optimization of display process stability.
  2. optimize the performance of lights after the vehicle waking up.
  3. optimize the performance of kinetic energy recovery.
  4. In car wash mode, the vehicle will park when pulling the outer door handle. Further reducing the maximum speed limit of the vehicle in neutral if the driver is not in the vehicle in wash mode.
  5. temperature system control during DC fast charging has been optimized for the power capacity of each charging station, improving not only charging efficiency but also battery temperature presetting efficiency along the way. Charging times have been reduced and electricity costs have been lowered.
  6. a redesigned Supercharger map pop-up window now shows past charging station occupancy and associated charging charges, if any.
  7. when the driver’s door unlock mode is enabled, a long press on the inside driver’s door switch unlocks all doors and the trunk.
  8. the learned tire settings are reset immediately after a tire change, swap or replacement to enhance the driving experience
