Tecno, a known smartphone manufacturer for launching budget-oriented smartphones has launched yet another Spark series device. The Tecno Spart 9T has been officially released in India. The brand has added some minor changes over the Tecno Spark 9T which has been previously launched in Nigerian markets. Let’s have a complete look at it.
Tecno Spark 9T Specifications and Features
Starting from the display, it has got a 6.6-inches IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution, 401 PPI pixel resolution, 60Hz standard refresh rate, and 500 nits of peak brightness. The Indian variant is powered by a downgraded MediaTek Helio G35 chipset, unlike the Helio G37 present on the Nigerian variant of the device. It boots ups on Android 11-based HiOS 7.6. It’s worth mentioning that the Nigerian variant of the device boots up on the latest HiOS 8.6 based on Android 11.
The device has an 8-megapixel selfie camera, down from 32-megapixel one on the Nigerian variant. On the rear, we have a 50-megapixels primary camera compared with a 13-megapixels present on the Nigerian one. It also has an AI lens as a secondary camera with unknown resolution. It has a 5000mAh battery with the support for 18W fast wired charging. The Indian variant further has downgraded MicroUSB port compared to the Type-C on Nigerian Spart 9T.

Additional features of the device include the presence of a 3.5mm headphone jack, IPX2 splash resistance rating, side-mounted physical fingerprint scanner, and support for DTS True Surround Sound. It also supports Virtual RAM expansion up to 3GBs. A MicroSD card up to 512GB is also supported by the device for further storage expansion.
Tecno Spark 9T Pricing and Variants
The Tecno Spart 9T comes in one and only 4GB+64GB variant in India. The device is priced at INR 9,299 (~$117) in India. It will be available in Turquoise Cyan, Atlantic Blue, Iris Purple, and Tahiti Gold colour variant. The device will go on sale in the country starting August 6th, 2022 via Amazon India.
