Tecno POVA 4 series are the most recent entry into the Transsion Holding subsidiary’s device line-up. The series comprises two devices, a base and a Pro model, both of which are quite similar in design but have a few differences in specifications. For some reason, Tecno stuck with the design we see on the POVA Neo 2 that became official a few weeks ago.

Despite having a similar design to the Tecno POVA Neo 2 the new POVA 4 series stepped up performance and power. Both devices in this new series make use of the same, 6000mAh battery capacity and use the same MediaTek processor. With a good battery, a formidable midrange-level processor, and great storage, these devices will appeal to those looking out to the game on a budget device. Here are the specifications of the new POVA 4:

- Processor: MediaTek Helio G99.
- Storage: 8GB/128GB memory and storage options with the option of virtual RAM expansion.
- Main Camera: Dual setup with a 50MP main camera and a secondary camera.
- Front Camera: 8MP front-facing camera.
- Battery: 6000mAh battery with 18W fast charge.
- Operating System: HiOS running on Android 12.
- Biometrics: Side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Here are the specifications for the POVA 4 Pro, this device comes with some notable improvements:
- Screen: 6.66-inch AMOLED FHD+ screen with 90Hz refresh rate.
- Processor: MediaTek Helio G99.
- Storage: 8GB/256GB memory and storage options with the option of virtual RAM expansion.
- Main Camera: Dual setup with a 16MP main camera and a 16MP secondary camera.
- Front Camera: 8MP front-facing camera.
- Battery: 6000mAh battery with 45W fast charge.
- Operating System: HiOS running on Android 12.
- Biometrics: Side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Both devices share a similar design, with the POVA 4 being the bigger option as it comes with a 6.82-inch screen. There is also the availability of reverse charging on both devices with an OTG cable and core gaming with the Panther 2.0 platform. The Pro model adds a bit of aesthetic to the rear camera cutout, making it a little bit more attractive.
Tecno POVA 4 series pricing and availability
The new POVA series made its debut on the Tecno official Bangladesh website. Sale of these devices will kick off as soon as it makes their way to the local retail stores and other regions in the coming weeks. Available colours on the base model are Uranolith Grey and Fluorite Blue, while the Pro model will stick to only Fluorite Blue. Pricing of the devices in this series although not available is to find its place in the sub $300 price point.
