Tecno is launching a mid-range flip foldable phone called the Phantom V Flip with a vertical folding screen design similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip, which will be available in black, white, and purple colours.
After the Phantom V Flip’s phone renders were revealed, the phone’s fuzzy phone case recently showed up on e-commerce platforms for $16.80.
Some users are selling prototypes on the salty platform, carrying a circular camera bump, an FHD+ main display, and a built-in MediaTek Tengui 8050 chip.
The Tenguet 8050 is actually a rebranded version of the Tenguet 1300 chip and contains four high-performance Cortex-A78 cores (1 core up to 3GHz and 3 cores up to 2.6GHz), as well as the Cortex-A55 energy-efficient core.
The leak reveals that the Tecno Phantom V Flip folding screen will feature a 6.75-inch 144Hz screen with Android 13-based HIOS, a 64MP multi-camera on the rear, a 32MP camera on the front, as well as 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, a 4,000mAh battery, and a 66W fast charger.
