The Croma chain, owned by Tata Group’s Infiniti Retail, plans to open 100 stores across India dedicated to selling Apple products, according to the Economic Times of India.

Infiniti Retail will become a franchise partner of Apple and will open these 100 stores in malls, main streets and neighborhoods, each ranging from 500-600 square feet, that will sell Apple products exclusively by becoming Apple Authorized Resellers.

The new Apple Authorized Reseller stores will reportedly be smaller than Apple Premium Reseller stores, which are typically more than 1,000 square feet in size. The smaller stores will primarily sell iPhones, iPads and Apple Watches, while the larger stores will offer the full range of Apple products, including MacBooks.

India has been one of Apple’s fastest-growing markets over the past few years, and the company’s performance in India has been particularly strong since the outbreak began. In the September quarter, Apple’s iPhone global revenue reached an all-time high of $42.6 billion, up 10 percent compared to the same quarter a year earlier, with this growth driven by strong sales of the new iPhone 14 series in India. According to CyberMedia Research (CMR), iPhone sales in India grew 44 percent to more than 1.7 million units during the July-September period.
