The Tamron Fuji X-mount 150-500mm F/5-6.7 Di III VC VXD lens will be launched in October 2022 at a price of 9990 CNY.

Tamron officially announced recently that this lens has encountered some problems, and some products have found that the lens cannot focus on the subject at infinity.

If you want to confirm whether your lens is one of the affected products, you can click to go to the official website to “check the serial number” and enter the serial number of the lens. The serial number is a series of six numbers that can be found on the back of the lens and on the box.

Tamron said: “We apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused to all users and potential buyers.” The official did not mention further after-sales measures in the announcement.

This lens has a length of 209.6mm, a maximum diameter of 93mm, and a weight of 1725g. The lens structure is 25 elements in 16 groups. It uses special low-dispersion lenses and composite aspheric lenses. It is also equipped with a high-speed, high-precision linear motor focusing mechanism VXD (voice coil High torque drive), and VC (optical image stabilization) mechanism, also equipped with the second-generation broadband anti-reflection coating BBAR-G2.
