 The product line is old and does not comply with the strategy of switching all models to Fuyao 2.0 architecture

 The main sales force of the brand has been taken by newer models such as G6 and G9. The sales performance of G3 has been poor for a long time.

 Sales performance has led to higher inventory levels, lower gross profit margins, and G3's contribution to sales is almost "negligible"

Xpeng G3 is the “originator” of Xpeng Motors and its first mass-produced model. The car made its world premiere at CES in the United States in 2018 and was launched for delivery in December of the same year. Later, the G3i model was launched in July 2021 to improve intelligence and other aspects. The entire series is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820A chip as standard.

According to previous reports, Xpeng G3i received the Xmart OS 2.4.0 version upgrade on October 8 this year, which mainly includes parking assistance image upgrades, remote image adjustment, switching of battery life display modes, and optimization of some third-party apps.

Public information shows that the entire Xpeng G3i series adopts a front-wheel drive layout. The maximum output power of the permanent magnet synchronous motor is 145kW (approximately 194 horsepower), the maximum torque is 300N·m, and the NEDC cruising range is 460~520km.

The Xpeng G3i will be receiving some new colour options that’ll be ready in a coming May 20 event. This announcement came directly from the company. We are not yet certain of the colours coming to the Xpeng G3i, but we do know that this EV is available in a few interesting colour schemes. These colours include White, Grey, Red+Black, Blue+Black, and Green+White. On the inside, there are currently two colour options available, classic black, and technology blue and white.

The Xpeng G3i comes in a total of four versions, as the prices increase, each version has an added feature that isn’t present in the other. This pure electric compact SUV launched on July 9, 2021. It has a maximum power of 145 kilowatts with a maximum torque of 300 Nm.

Its face design is a concept that Xpeng calls an X-Robot design. As with electric vehicles, there is no front grill since it doesn’t use a combustion engine.

This EV SUV from Xpeng retails between 168,900-203,900 yuan depending on the version a buyer chooses. We aren’t certain whether the new colours to come in the May 20 event will come with new prices.
