Vivo T2x 5G phone global version will be equipped with Tiangui 700 SoC, equipped with Full HD+ resolution waterdrop display, 440 PPI pixel density, built-in 8GB memory, pre-installed running Android 13 operating system.

The Vivo T2x is equipped with a 6.58-inch IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. Equipped with 8GB LPDDR4x memory and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Rear 50MP main sensor (f/1.8) and 2MP macro camera. 16MP selfie camera on the front.

The phone features side fingerprint recognition and a 6000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. In terms of connectivity, the phone has several features such as dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, dual SIM card support, NFC and USB Type-C port.

Vivo T2x specifications and features 

The successor of the Vivo T1x is coming with more than decent specs compared to its price range. The device features a 6.58” IPS LCD screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. The device also has a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. The screen has a peak brightness of 650 nits, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and DC Dimming.  

The Vivo T2x is powered by the latest Dimensity 1300 5G SoC from MediaTek paired with 8GB of LPDDR4x. The device is also equipped with UFS 3.1 enhanced internal storage, up to 256GB. 

At the back, T2x sports a dual-camera setup. There’s a 50MP main camera and a 2MP macro lens. At the front of the device, there’s a tear-drop notch and it houses a 16MP camera for selfies and video calls. 

Lastly, Vivo T2x has a massive 6,000 mAh battery under the hood. The battery is coming with 44W fast charging and 6W reverse wired charging. According to Vivo, the T2x can deliver 20 hours of continuous video playback and you can charge 50% of the battery within 35 minutes. 

Vivo T2x price and availability 

Vivo T2x is currently available in China for pre-order. Two variants of Vivo T2x are available for purchase. The first variant comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It is priced at 1,699 yuan ($254). The second variant also comes with 8GB of RAM and internal storage of 256GB. This one is priced at 1,899 yuan ($284).

There’s also an introductory offer from Vivo, that cuts the price of both of the devices by 100 yuan.  

At the moment, Vivo T2x is available only in China. The device is available for pre-orders and Vivo will start shipping on 12th June. Vivo may launch this device on the global market at a later date but that information is yet to be announced.

Processing on this smartphone will be the MediaTek Dimensity 1300. This new processor features on the OPPO Reno 8, it supports 5G and Wi-Fi 6 connections. The screen on this smartphone is a 6.58-inch liquid crystal display (LCD) which supports a 120Hz refresh rate for responsive actions. Battery life on this device promises to be long-lasting with a 6000mAh battery. This capacity will charge at a fast 44W, delivering a full charge within a short time. 

The Vivo T2x will feature a dual rear camera setup, housing a 50MP main camera and a 2MP macro sensor. Up front, the selfie camera will make use of a 16MP sensor for capturing vivid and clear images. This will be an upgrade from the previous T1x smartphone camera abilities.

Specification of this device from the leak is not yet confirmed by the company, so the leak might not be fully credible. The launch date of the device remains a mystery, but we expect it to launch in a few weeks, following the Vivo T2. Considering the specifications of this device, we can tell that it’d fall within the budget smartphone range. We can’t pinpoint an exact price, but this device will be in close competition with the OPPO Reno 8 and the OnePlus Nord 2T.
