]]> Synology released a new dual-drive DiskStation DS223 NAS in January this year, designed for families and SOHOs to meet their basic storage needs. Now, this NAS is already on the shelves of Jingdong, and the version without a built-in hard disk is priced at 2250 RMB.

The new DiskStation DS223 is equipped with Realtek RTD1619B processor with 4 cores and 1.7GHz, 2GB DDR4 memory, two 3.5-inch HDDs or 2.5-inch SSDs, and RJ-45 1GbE ports and three USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports.

Officially, the DS223 can be used as an instant backup for computers to prevent ransomware attacks or accidental deletion, and on mobile devices, users can automatically upload photos and videos to their own private cloud via Synology Photos to continuously protect these precious memories. The Btrfs file system also brings a variety of advanced data protection measures, including relay data mirroring, file self-healing, and more.

Synology’s new DiskStation DS223 is equipped with a Realtek RTD1619B processor with a specification of 4-core 1.7GHz. The memory capacity is 2GB DDR4, and two 3.5-inch HDDs or 2.5-inch SSDs can be installed. The body interface includes RJ-45 1GbE network port and three USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports.
