Synology has released a new dual-bay DiskStation DS223 NAS, designed for families and SOHO families to meet their basic storage needs.
Synology’s new DiskStation DS223 is equipped with a Realtek RTD1619B processor with a specification of 4-core 1.7GHz. The memory capacity is 2GB DDR4, and two 3.5-inch HDDs or 2.5-inch SSDs can be installed. The body interface includes RJ-45 1GbE network port and three USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports.
According to the official statement, DS223 can be used as an instant computer backup to prevent ransomware attacks or accidental deletion; on mobile devices, users can automatically upload photos and videos to their own private cloud through Synology Photos to continuously protect these precious memories.
