The Doogee S100 is equipped with a 6.56-inch display, supporting 120Hz refresh rate and 500nit peak brightness; the processor is selected from MediaTek Helio G99, with only 12GB+256GB memory version available, expandable via microSD card; the built-in 10800mAh ultra-large capacity battery, supporting 66W fast charging.

In terms of image, the phone is equipped with a 32MP selfie camera on the front and a triple camera module on the rear, with a 108MP main camera, a 20MP night vision camera and a 16MP ultra-wide angle lens.

In addition, Doogee S100 is IP68 / IP69K and MIL-STD-810H certified for water, dust and shock resistance.

There is no doubt that the Doogee S98 Pro design is impressive. Though the alien design is inspired, there is more to the phone. A 48MP SONY IMX582 primary camera and a 20MP SONY IMX350 night vision camera flank an InfiRay thermal imaging camera on the phone. The front camera is a 16MP Samsung S5K3P9SP sensor.

The thermal camera features Dual Spectrum Fusion technology, which combines images from the primary camera and the thermal camera into a more detailed single image to identify leaks, excessive temperatures, and other issues.

The S98 Pro, like the S98, is powered by a MediaTek Helio G96 CPU, which lacks 5G but is powerful enough for gaming. The phone comes with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS2.2 storage that can be upgraded to 512GB using a microSD card.

The S98 Pro comes with a 6000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. It also supports a 15W wireless charger. The phone comes with IP68 and IP69K ratings. It is also MIL-STD-810H compliant.

The display is a 6.3″ FHD+ LCD IPS waterdrop display with a Corning Gorilla Glass layer for protection. The S98 Pro will come pre-installed with Android 12 OS.

Pricing And Availability

On June 6th, the S98 Pro will be available globally on three platforms: AliExpress, Doogeemall, and Linio (Latin America). From June 6th through June 10th, the phone will be available for $329, after which it will revert to its previous $439 pricing. In addition, the company is giving away four phones in a contest. The rugged phone comes with an IP68 and IP69K rating against water and dust ingress. It also has a MIL-STD-810H complaint.

Design-wise, the phone’s camera bump on the back is alien-inspired. A back case also has alien designs, and when combined, the alien look is completed. This case will be bundled together with the phone.

The company claims this is the best camera set for work phones. On the bump, you will find a 48MP Sony IMX582 primary camera, a 20MP night vision camera, and a thermal imaging sensor from InfiRay. A 16MP Samsung S5K3P9SP will be responsible for selfies.
