POCO is a phone brand under Xiaomi, that focuses on cost-effectiveness and innovation. Recently, POCO launched a new M-series phone in the Indian market, called POCO M6 Pro 5G, which is the successor of last year’s M4 Pro 5G, essentially the same as the Redmi Note 12R, which has already been launched in China. The main highlight of the POCO M6 Pro 5G is that it is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip, a processor based on the 4-nanometer process, with strong performance and power consumption. The main highlight of the POCO M6 Pro 5G is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip, which is a processor based on the 4nm process that delivers strong performance and low power consumption.

The POCO M6 Pro 5G also has a distinctive design with a two-tone back cover and a long black camera module in the center. The front of the phone has a 6.79-inch centered, scooped-out screen with FHD+ resolution, brightness up to 550 nits and a refresh rate of 90 Hz, and a power button on the side of the phone with integrated fingerprint recognition.

In terms of photography, the POCO M6 Pro 5G has two cameras at the back, a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary camera. The front selfie camera is 8MP. In terms of system, POCO M6 Pro 5G comes preloaded with Android 13 operating system and supports virtual memory technology, which can add up to 6GB of memory.

The POCO M6 Pro 5G has a built-in 5000 mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. In terms of connectivity, the POCO M6 Pro 5G supports WiFi 5, 3.5mm headphone jack, infrared remote control, Bluetooth and 5G networks.The POCO M6 Pro 5G is available in Forest Green and Power Black colors.

The POCO M6 Pro 5G is priced from Rs. 10,999 ( Currently around RMB 954) in India and Rs. 12,999 (Currently around RMB 1,127) for the highest configuration, and will be available for purchase on Flipkart’s website on August 9th. For comparison, the Redmi Note 12R is priced from RMB 1,099 in China.

The Poco official now reveals that the Poco F5 Pro will have a WQHD+ straight screen with a centered hole punch and a built-in selfie camera.

The Poco F5 Pro has a power button on the right frame, connected to the volume rocker, and a SIM card slot, microphone, and speaker on either side of the USB-C port at the bottom. The absence of an antenna line on the phone frame means that no metal is used.

Poco also previewed the back panel of the F5 phone, which looks like the Redmi Note 12 Turbo GB version with a 64MP triple camera on the rear and has been confirmed to be equipped with a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chip. The Poco F5 Pro phone is expected to be equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip ( it is expected to be the same model of the Redmi K60 series in China).

Xiaomi’s phone model number “23013PC75G” has appeared on the Geekbench certification page, expected to be the POCO F5 Pro.

The Geekbench certification page shows the POCO F5 Pro with a single runtime score of 1302 and a multi-core runtime score of 4080, powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 mobile platform, with an optional 12GB of running memory and pre-installed Android 13 OS.

The POCO F5 Pro is available in black and white, and is expected to be offered in 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB storage variants; the screen is a 6.67-inch QHD+ resolution AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a perforated design; the built-in 5500mAh battery supports 67W The device has a 5500mAh battery and supports 67W fast charging.

Poco F5 Pro has a 64MP+8MP+2MP camera system on the rear, with stereo speakers and an on-screen fingerprint sensor.

After months of breaking news, Xiaomi has finally confirmed that the POCO X5 Pro will be officially launched overseas on February 6 at 5:30 p.m. There will also be a basic version of the POCO X5 in some regions.

From the trailer released by Flipkart, the new model will have Indian cricketer and captain of Gujrat Taitains IPL team Hardik Pandya as the brand ambassador, that is, the spokesperson.

From the previous revelations, the POCO X5 5G is equivalent to the Redmi Note 12 5G (Snapdragon 4 Gen1) tweaked from the Redmi Note 12 that has been previously released in China, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chip with 8GB of RAM and runs Android 12.

The POCO X5 Pro is the domestic equivalent of the Redmi Note 12 Pro Extreme and will be released for the global market.

The phone features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G CPU and Adreno 642L GPU, and is available in 6 GB + 128 GB, 8 GB + 128 GB and 8 GB + 256 GB variants.

Other aspects, this model will be equipped with 108 MP main camera + 8 MP ultra-wide angle + 2 MP macro lens, front 16 MP lens, built-in 5000 mAh battery, and support 67W fast charging.

According to the information, the POCO X5 Pro will be priced at INR 21,000 (currently about RMB 1745) to INR 23,000 (currently about RMB 1911) and will be available in 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB storage variants.

The Xiaomi Redmi 11A has been certified by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) TENAA, India BIS and Singapore IMDA.

In addition to the Redmi 11A, the POCO X5 5G has also passed the Malaysian SIRIM certification with model number 22111317PG. Previously, the Xiaomi POCO X5 has already appeared on BIS, FCC and 3C certification websites. It is a sign of the imminent launch of the new machine.

The POCO X5 5G features 67W fast charging and a built-in 4900mAh battery, according to previous certification information. It is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ chip and may come with a 120Hz LCD display. Xiaomi’s POCO released the POCO C40 phone in June this year, recently POCO India announced that it will launch POCO C50 new phone in the last week of November.

POCO C40

POCO hasn’t revealed the exact specifications of the C50, but the company said in a press note that the C50 will be the “king of value for money” and the “total package” that will offer “stellar camera performance, immersive multimedia experience” and “long battery life and sleek design.

In October, the POCO C50 appeared on the Google Play list of supported devices under model number 220733SPI, codenamed “snow”, and the same model number had previously appeared in the IMEI database. The same model number has also appeared in the IMEI database. From the model code, the POCO C50 could be the Redmi A1 + a newer version, which also has the same code name – snow.

Redmi A1+ features a 6.52-inch HD+ waterdrop screen, a MediaTek Helio A22 processor, an Android 12 Go Edition pre-installed, and a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging support.

POCO is reportedly working on its upcoming POCO C50 smartphone. It will land in the market as the successor of the existing POCO C40 device. The smartphone has now been listed on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) and Google-supported device lists. The certifications do throw some light on the information regarding the unreleased smartphone.

POCO C50 spotted on BIS certification!

The upcoming POCO smartphone with the mode number 220733SPI has been listed on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification of India. The alphabet “I” at the end of the model number confirms that it’s an Indian variant. Further, the device has the codename “snow.” The website also reveals some specifications of the device.

POCO C50

The website has confirmed that there will be at least one variant with 2GB of RAM. Further, it will have a display with 720*1600 pixels, which is basically HD+, resolution. It will be powered by the MediaTek Helio A22 and will boot up on the Android 12-based operating system right out of the box.

Anyway, the key specifications look very much similar compared with the Redmi A1 smartphone. This gives us a hint that it could be a rebranded version of Redmi A1. POCO recently launched its POCO F4 5G smartphone in the market offering specifications like the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G chipset, 64-megapixel primary camera with support for OIS image stabilization. The brand is now gearing up for the launch of the successor of POCO F4, the POCO F5 device.

POCO F5 leaks; Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 confirmed

It is worth mentioning that the POCO F4 was the rebranded version of the Redmi K40 smartphone. But the upcoming POCO F5 is said to be the rebranded version of a different model from the Redmi K60 lineup. Some sources mention that it will be the rebadged version of the Redmi K60 smartphone. The smartphone is said to flaunt a 2K resolution panel with up to 120Hz high refresh rate support.

POCO F5

The device will gather power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset. The model number “M11A” indicates that the product’s code name is Mondrian. There are also claims that it will have an undisclosed size screen with a brightness of 1000 nits. and features a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a 2K resolution (1440*200). In addition, as we previously noted, there is a rumour that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip will be used.

The following POCO F5’s identifying number is 23011311AG, according to the IMEI Database. Right now, all signs lead to the POCO F5 release serving as China’s Redmi K60, which is what the leaks revealed. This phone should be released in the first quarter of 2023, according to the leak. POCO has officially confirmed that they will host a launch event on September 5, 5:30 P.M. IST to launch the POCO M5 smartphone. Now, ahead of any official teaser or announcement, the renders of POCO M5 and POCO M5s have started hovering online. POCO M5, POCO M5s renders

The renders of POCO M5s reveal that they will have a similar design pattern compared with the Redmi Note 10S device. There are no major changes in the design as much, only the camera module has stretched by a bit and the POCO logo has been mentioned over it. The renders reveal that it will have a centre-aligned punch hole cutout on the front and quad rear cameras along with an LED light on the back. The volume controllers and power on/off button is placed on the right-hand side of the device.

POCO M5

As for the POCO M5, according to the renders, the handset has a waterdrop notch on the front for the selfie camera. On the right edge, you’ll find the volume control and power button, as well as a fingerprint sensor. The phone has a leather finish on the back, which makes it stand out. On the top half of the back panel, there is a huge horizontal housing that houses three camera sensors and an LED flash. The phone might be available in three colours: green, yellow, and black.

The report further mentions that the POCO M5 will be available in 4GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB variants. The POCO M5s will also have the same 4GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB variant. The former may have a price tag of EUR 189 while the latter might start from EUR 229, for the base variant.

POCO might soon launch a new smartphone in India powered by an unreleased MediaTek Helio G99 SoC. The device has been officially teased by the brand. It has been reported that it will launch as “POCO M5” in the market. Let’s see what we know about the upcoming POCO smartphone powered by the Helio G99 chipset.

POCO has officially teased a smartphone on its official Twitter handle. According to reports, the teaser is for the Poco M5. Although the company’s teaser graphic does not offer any facts about the smartphone, it does mention “G99.” According to reports, the Poco M5 would be powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC.  The smartphone would be released in India in early September. It is also believed to be a smartphone with 4G connectivity. The image does have a special leather-like effect which aims that the device may come with a leather finish on the rear panel.

According to a report shared by 91Mobiles, which cited industry sources, the POCO M5 is rumoured to be priced below Rs. 15,000 in India. The price range only applies to the base model, and higher variants may be priced higher, according to the report. The device is expected to be released in India in early September. POCO has yet to announce an official launch date for the phone.

It also claims that the POCO M5 will keep its “chic-leather-like” rear look. According to the source, the phone would also have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. It is expected to have dual-band Wi-Fi and a Bluetooth v5 connection.
