POCO X5 Pro phone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G in India on Feb. 6

After months of breaking news, Xiaomi has finally confirmed that the POCO X5 Pro will be officially launched overseas on February 6 at 5:30 p.m. There will also be a basic version of the POCO X5 in some regions.

From the trailer released by Flipkart, the new model will have Indian cricketer and captain of Gujrat Taitains IPL team Hardik Pandya as the brand ambassador, that is, the spokesperson.

From the previous revelations, the POCO X5 5G is equivalent to the Redmi Note 12 5G (Snapdragon 4 Gen1) tweaked from the Redmi Note 12 that has been previously released in China, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chip with 8GB of RAM and runs Android 12.

The POCO X5 Pro is the domestic equivalent of the Redmi Note 12 Pro Extreme and will be released for the global market.

The phone features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G CPU and Adreno 642L GPU, and is available in 6 GB + 128 GB, 8 GB + 128 GB and 8 GB + 256 GB variants.

Other aspects, this model will be equipped with 108 MP main camera + 8 MP ultra-wide angle + 2 MP macro lens, front 16 MP lens, built-in 5000 mAh battery, and support 67W fast charging.

According to the information, the POCO X5 Pro will be priced at INR 21,000 (currently about RMB 1745) to INR 23,000 (currently about RMB 1911) and will be available in 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB storage variants.
