According to LinusTechTips’ CrystalDiskMark comparison test between Samsung 990 Pro (PCIe 4.0) and CoreTech T700 (PCIe 5.0), the CoreTech T700 does have a spike in sequential reads and writes, but the 4K random reads and writes do not pull away from the Samsung 990 Pro.

The following are other test results:

The Crucial T700 PCIe 5.0 SSD is powered by the Qunar E26 main controller and is equipped with a passive cooler.

As early as the beginning of this year, Crucial announced that it would launch its first PCIe 5.0 SSD, but it has not been available until now. According to the report, the new Crucial will use the latest 232-layer 3D NAND from parent company Micron Technology, and will also work with Phison, AMD, Intel and motherboard manufacturers to further improve the PCIe 5.0 ecosystem.
