Corsair launched the K70 MAX keyboard in China in August this year, equipped with an adjustable magnetic axis. The initial price was 1,899 CNY and the current promotional price is 1,679 CNY.

Today, Corsair announced a major upgrade to the K70 MAX, officially supporting the RT function.

Officials said that after several firmware beta tests and firmware improvements, all K70 MAX users can now fully use the Rapid Trigger function.

Rapid Trigger function is introduced as follows:

The only thing necessary to enable the Rapid Trigger functionality is the Corsair MGX magnetic shaft. The switches use the Hall effect to continuously monitor the switch position, meaning the keyboard always knows how deeply the keys are pressed.

In this way, we know the depth of the keys at all times, allowing us to break through the performance limitations of traditional switches. In a traditional switch, the button needs to return to a fixed position before it can be triggered when pressed again. But when using magnetic switches, if we know how deep the button is pressed, we can allow the button to trigger again after the action occurs after lifting up. (It is not necessary to return to the specified location)

In this way, Rapid Trigger will exceed the upper limit of key input speed, and as soon as the key starts to move up, you can type again immediately. This changes competitive gaming, especially FPS games like Counter Strike 2, Apex Legends, Valorant, etc., where pixel-level movement is crucial. Actions like strafeing back and forth will be performed much faster, and in fact this technology will make all keyboard operations faster.

Turn on the Rapid Trigger option in the Corsair software, and then Rapid Trigger will turn on the most basic mode. In the default settings, the main trigger point of the button is 2.0mm, and the reset distance is 0.1mm and above, which means that as long as the button is lifted 0.1mm or More and you can press it again immediately, and it will trigger immediately no matter how much you press.

The K70 MAX keyboard recently released by Corsair is now available on JD.com, equipped with an adjustable magnetic axis, priced at 1,899 CNY.

The description of Corsair K70 MAX keyboard is as follows:

Corsair says that as the first keyboard to feature adjustable CORSAIR MGX magnetic mechanical switches, the K70 MAX brings unprecedented playability.

The K70 MAX gaming keyboard is equipped with a new CORSAIR MGX magnetic switch body, which can set an independent actuation distance for each key (ranging from 0.4 mm to 3.6 mm in 0.1 mm increments). The CORSAIR MGX switch body also introduces a double-contact trigger, which allows the button to be triggered without two-stage triggering during one press, without waiting for the rebound, allowing you to make the command take effect twice quickly with only one operation. For example, lightly touch the key to walk, and press the heavy key to run quickly (this function requires subsequent firmware updates and iCUE software adaptation support).

Additionally, CORSAIR MGX switches will support the new Rapid Trigger mode. Rapid Trigger unlocks key-by-key ultra-responsive triggering to give you a competitive edge in FPS and other fast-paced games. With Rapid Trigger enabled, keys reset immediately when lifted, giving the K70 MAX an advantage over traditional mechanical keyboards in terms of rapid represses and input changes.

In terms of design, the K70 MAX uses a high-grade aluminum frame, which is treated with an etching process, which is sturdy and has a sense of design; there are two layers of shock-absorbing materials inside, which can effectively reduce the noise during typing. The K70 MAX is equipped with a memory foam palm rest as standard, which can be quickly disassembled and assembled through magnetic suction. Easy to install and comfortable to use, it can fully release the pressure on your hands.
