The K70 MAX gaming keyboard is equipped with a new CORSAIR MGX magnetic switch body, which can set an independent actuation distance for each key (ranging from 0.4 mm to 3.6 mm in 0.1 mm increments). The CORSAIR MGX switch body also introduces a double-contact trigger, which allows the button to be triggered without two-stage triggering during one press, without waiting for the rebound, allowing you to make the command take effect twice quickly with only one operation. For example, lightly touch the key to walk, and press the heavy key to run quickly (this function requires subsequent firmware updates and iCUE software adaptation support).
Additionally, CORSAIR MGX switches will support the new Rapid Trigger mode. With Rapid Trigger enabled, keys reset immediately when lifted, giving the K70 MAX an advantage over traditional mechanical keyboards in terms of rapid represses and input changes.
