The specifications of Chuwi’s new MiniBook X laptop are as follows:

The Intel N100 processor is a 6W TDP, 4-core, 4-thread specification. The screen is 10.51 inches with a 1920 x 1200 resolution.

In other respects, this laptop supports 12GB LPDDR5 memory, is equipped with 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD, an aluminum alloy body, a built-in 26.6 Wh battery, and supports 45W USB-C power adapter.

Chuwi’s new MiniBook X laptop has not yet been launched in China. As a reference, the old N5100 model is priced at 2,999 CNY.

In terms of appearance, Chuwi UBook X shell is made of frosted aluminium alloy, CNC one-piece aviation aluminium, with a bracket on the back; 810g weight, 9mm thickness.

In terms of hardware configuration, Chuwi UBook X is equipped with an Intel i5-10210Y processor, 4-core 8-thread configuration, turbo frequency up to 4.0GHz; 8GB LPDDR4 memory and 256GB solid-state drive.

In terms of display, Chuwi UBook X is equipped with a 12-inch 2K IPS screen with a resolution of 2160×1440, 350nits brightness, and a 60Hz refresh rate; it can be used with a magnetic keyboard to quickly switch between tablet mode and notebook mode, and supports a 4096-level stylus.

In other respects, Chuwi UBook X has a built-in 38Wh battery, front and rear dual cameras, stereo speakers, and dual array microphones; both sides of the fuselage come with full-featured USB-C (Note: fast charging, video expansion and data transmission), USB-A, Micro HDMI, TF bayonet and 3.5mm headphone jack.

According to the report, the tablet is equipped with a 10.5-inch 16:10 touch screen, 1920 x 1200 resolution, 360 nits maximum brightness; powered by the Unisoc T616 Soc processor and 6GB of memory, with 128GB of storage space, supports MicroSD card slot expandable up to 1TB.

The Unisoc T616 Soc processor was released in 2021. The T616 is based on DynamIQ’s next-generation small and large core architecture, consisting of two 2.0 GHz Arm Cortex-A75 CPUs and six 1.8 GHz Arm Cortex-A55 processors with Mali G57 GPUs.

The Chuwi HiPad XPro tablet is priced at $149 (currently about RMB 1009) and will be available starting next month.

It gets a discount bringing its price down to $259 from a regular retail price of $519, the company also adds some gifts with the purchase of this laptop.

The first major change or improvement we can notice on this tablet is that it will launch with Android 12. Another upgrade is with the processor that will power the CHUWI HiPad Max. Some specifications on the HiPad Max are a 10.36-inch FHD screen. It will also come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. Like the previous generation, it will feature a quad-speaker setup but this time with Distributed Audio. The rear camera will be an 8MP shooter and on the front, there will be a 5MP selfie camera.

One major change we took note of in this tablet is the design, unlike the HiPad Pro, this new tablet doesn’t come with a Dot-in display. This will drop the screen-to-body ratio of the CHUWI HiPad Max to 84% as against 90% on the previous model. CHUWI might as well make an update to this tablet by launching a Pro model, but for now, we can only confirm the launch of the CHUWI HiPad Max. The AlderBox will come in two variants, each of which will use the 12th generation Intel processor. The same graphics card will be available across the two variants. Both models will use 2022 Intel processors, the first model will use the Intel Core i7 12700H. Measuring only 6.6-inch, the AlderBox is very portable and a user can easily carry it about in a backpack.

The Intel Core i7 variant of the AlderBox will retail for 4,697 yuan (~$699), and the i5 variant will retail for 3,353 yuan (~$499). At launch, more in-depth features of the AlderBox will available. This might be the ideal machine for those who need a PC that won’t take up all the space on their working desk.
