The CHUWI AlderBox mini PC will launch sometime in the month of July. CHUWI has made a name for itself with their array of products. The AlderBox will be a new entry into CHUWI’s Mini PC line.
Already we have the basic specifications of this Mini PC, ranging from its variants to their processing power. The AlderBox will come in two variants, each of which will use the 12th generation Intel processor. The same graphics card will be available across the two variants. The difference between the variants is obvious in their processor and memory for those who need more power.
Both models will use 2022 Intel processors, the first model will use the Intel Core i7 12700H. The second variant comes with the Intel Core i5 12500H processor, not as powerful as the previous model, but it will get the job done. Memory on these Mini PCs promises to be efficient, as they both come with LPDDR4X 16GB (for the i5 variant) and 32GB RAM (for the i7 variant). Storage on the CHUWI AlderBox Mini PC is a 1TB NVMe SSD solid state drive. The graphics card on these machines is the Intel ARC Iris Xe.
For wireless connectivity, these Mini PCs support Wi-Fi 6E for stable internet connection and Bluetooth 5.2. Interface connections are also rich, a Thunderbolt, four USB 3.0 Gen 2, one display port, and an HDMI. Asides from its power and performance, a major selling point of CHUWI Mini PCs is their portable design. Measuring only 6.6-inch, the AlderBox is very portable and a user can easily carry it about in a backpack.
The Intel Core i7 variant of the AlderBox will retail for 4,697 yuan (~$699), and the i5 variant will retail for 3,353 yuan (~$499). At launch, more in-depth features of the AlderBox will available. This might be the ideal machine for those who need a PC that won’t take up all the space on their working desk.
