Apple today announced the dates for a new week of Ask Apple events for developers. The event will take place December 12-16 and will offer online one-on-one consultations and group Q&As in multiple languages and time zones.

Registration is currently open for current members of the Apple Developer Program and Apple Developer Enterprise Program.

Apple said developers participating in the new Ask Apple week will be able to communicate directly with Apple experts to get answers to their latest technology and design questions, as well as ask questions about how to use the latest frameworks, improve the UI design of apps, and develop with Beta OS software and tools.

According to Apple, Ask Apple is free and allows developers to consult on a variety of topics, including adapting new features such as Lingering Island, switching to Swift, SwiftUI, and developing support functions.

According to Apple, the App Store, which launched in 2008, now offers approximately 1.8 million apps and is accessed by more than 500 million users from 175 countries and territories each week.

Apple noted that it provides developers with a wide range of tools and end-to-end support to help them build, test, market and distribute apps to more than 1.5 billion Apple devices. the suite of free tools and frameworks includes a software development kit (SDK) and developer services with more than 250,000 APIs to support developers building iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS and watchOS apps.

Apple today announced the launch of a new “Ask Apple” interactive quiz designed to let developers get help with app development from Apple engineers and experts. Apple first launched “Ask Apple” in October of this year and is now launching a second week of the event, which will run from November 14 to November 18.

Through “Ask Apple,” developers can get information about implementing new features in iOS 16, such as real-time events and Dynamic Island.

Developers can ask Apple team members questions via Q&A in Slack or in a 25-minute one-on-one “office hour” meeting. Apple evangelists, engineers and designers are available to developers, and office hours focus on creating applications that take advantage of the latest technologies.

According to Apple’s website, Apple announced the launch of Ask Apple, a new interactive Q&A and one-on-one consulting series that provides developers with more opportunities to communicate directly with Apple experts for insight, support and feedback.

Developers who participate in Ask Apple can consult on a variety of topics, including testing the latest seed; deploying new or updated frameworks released at WWDC; adapting new features such as Lingering Island; switching to Swift, SwiftUI, and development assistance; preparing apps in advance for new OS and hardware releases; and more. Registration is open to all Apple Developer Program and Apple Developer Enterprise Program members at no cost to Apple.

"Ask Apple allows developers to ask questions to members of various Apple teams through a question and answer session on Slack or through one-on-one "office hours" consultations. Through Q&A, developers can contact Apple evangelists, engineers and designers directly to solve problems, share insights and connect with other developers around the world. "Developers can seek code-level assistance, design guidance, support for deployment technologies and frameworks, problem-solving advice, or help with the App Store Review Guidelines and distribution tools. "Office Hours will be available in multiple languages and in all time zones around the world."
