According to previous reports, FSR 3 introduces a “fluid motion frame” function, similar to the frame generation function of Nvidia DLSS3.

The exposed PPT shows that after turning on FSR 3 in “Forspoken”, the frame rate has increased from 4K 36fps to 4K 122fps.

According to the news, AMD will release the RX 7800 XT and RX 7700 XT graphics cards tonight, and more news about FSR 3 is expected to be announced later today.

AMD officials have not announced too many details about FSR3, only the official press team shared a press release, which is translated as follows:

"FSR3 is AMD's next-generation sampling technology still under development, integrating the Super Resolution sampling technology from FSR2, incorporating decades of research and innovation from AMD's R&D department, and introducing AMD's Fluid Motion Frames interpolation technology, which will allow games to achieve up to a 2x increase in frame rate."

FSR3 will be available to developers under an MIT license.
