The French e-commerce company PC21.FR launched the new Synology NAS DS423+, with a price of 456.58 euros (currently about 3360 CNY) before tax and 547.89 euros (currently about 4032 CNY) after tax.
This NAS has a 4-bay design, which can be inserted into 4 SATA 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch hard drives. It is equipped with the same Celeron J4125 processor as the 2020 DS920+ and DS720+ NAS, and is equipped with 2GB DDR4 memory (upgradeable to 2+4GB). It has 2 M.2 2280 slots (Only PCIe Gen 2 is supported), supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6 and Synology Hybrid RAID modes, and supports EXT4 or BTRFS file systems.
In other respects, the machine provides 2 1GbE RJ45 interfaces and 2 USB 3.2 Gen 1-A (5Gb / s) interfaces by default, uses a 90W external power supply, measures 166 mm x 199 mm x 223 mm, and provides a 3-year warranty.
Only this information is currently available, and we expect the new NAS to be released in early March.
