Suspected Meizu 20 appears in Geekbench: with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Android 13

The new phone should be the new Meizu flagship or the “Meizu 20” series model.

The new phone has a single-core score of 1409 and a multi-core score of 4199, with a mega-core frequency of 3.19GHz, is equipped with 12GB of RAM and is powered by the Android 13 operating system.

The new Meizu device, which is now available on Geekbench, should be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 uses a 4nm process and is a new 1+2+2+3 architecture, including a 3.2GHz Cortex-X3-based Kryo super core, four 2.8GHz performance cores (2×Cortex A715+2×Cortex A710) and three 2.0GHz Cortex-A510 performance cores.

This is also basically the same as the previously revealed information. In November, Meizu Technology said that the new flagship will be the first to be equipped with Qualcomm’s second-generation Snapdragon 8 mobile platform (Snapdragon 8 Gen 2), but did not reveal the name of the model. At that time, Meizu Technology said that with the hardware performance of the second generation Snapdragon 8 mobile platform, Meizu’s new flagship will also bring a “multi-device, full-scene, immersive and integrated experience” in the new era.

Previously, StarTimes announced in July this year that it held a 79.09% controlling stake in Meizu Technology and gained sole control of Meizu Technology. Shen Ziyu, vice chairman of StarTimes, who also serves as chairman of Meizu Technology, said Meizu will retain its independent team and release a new flagship next year.
