According to the Wall Street Journal, more and more companies want to become intermediaries for streaming media and customers. Now, Verizon has joined the bandwagon.

Verizon said it will offer a year of free Netflix to subscribers who buy select subscriptions through its new streaming platform +play.

Specifically, through +play Beta, subscribers can purchase 12-month or quarterly subscriptions from +play partners including NFL+, NBA League Pass, AMC+, Peloton, get a 12-month Netflix Premium plan and more.

The +play Beta is available to all Verizon Wireless, 5G Home and LTE Home subscribers, and Verizon says that after the initial beta launch, +play will continue to evolve and enrich its features with new services in entertainment, gaming and lifestyle.
