As Google’s cloud gaming service Stadia is about to close in January 2023, Ubisoft, a game maker in deep cooperation with Google Stadia, announced a transfer plan. Ubisoft will allow players to transfer Ubisoft games on Stadia to PC via Ubisoft Connect.
However, Ubisoft has not yet mentioned whether it will allow other aspects of the game to be transferred, such as save data, progress and other data. Ubisoft has not yet announced a specific time for the transfer.
Earlier this week, Google announced that it would be shutting down the Stadia service, and any players who subscribed to the service could get a full refund. Google also canceled several games developed for the platform, one of which was Hideo Kojima’s horror game.
