Sony did not specify why it will cancel the integration of PS5 and PS4 consoles with the X platform, but foreign media The Verge believes that it may be because Musk’s new policy requires Sony to pay more API fees to the X platform.
Sony also said that users can still use the PlayStation App to quickly get the player’s game screenshots and recordings, and manually share them on social media platforms.
