Sony’s DualSense Edge wireless joystick for PS5 is now available for pre-order from the PlayStation Direct website ahead of its Jan. 26 release. The grip has additional features not found on the standard DualSense model, such as an interchangeable joystick and two back buttons. But it costs $199.99, almost three times the price of the standard DualSense joystick.
For this jaw-dropping price, Sony also has its extra giveaways, with a fair amount of extras included in the package to help customize the DualSense Edge for gamers.
Included in the package are.
The grip itself
Two standard, high dome and low dome-type joystick caps
Two interchangeable back trigger buttons.
A braided USB cable that locks onto the grip
A carrying case that serves as a charger for the grip when plugged in

Not only can players customize the hardware, Sony also allows for remapping buttons, adjusting the sensitivity and dead space of the joystick, saving multiple control profiles for easy switching, and supporting game volume adjustments directly from the joystick.
Sony’s replacement stick modules for the DualSense Edge are also available for pre-order, although they’re also expensive: $19.99 for a single module. But if the DualSense series is your preferred way to play games, it may be worth it to pay the upfront cost of the Edge so you can replace joysticks that drift or have other problems without having to spend money on new ones over and over again.
