Sony announced that it will hold a new audio conference on July 25th. It is expected to launch a new generation of noise-cancelling bean flagship product WF-1000XM5, featuring “active noise reduction”.
According to previous revelations, this product has a smaller volume than the WF-1000XM4, with a weight of 5.9g per ear, which is 1.4 grams lighter than the previous generation, and the weight is reduced by 20%. S 4.8g weighs 1g.
According to Walkman Blog data, the WF-1000XM5 will last up to 24 hours (earphones + charging box charging), and support 3 minutes of charging for 1 hour of listening.
According to @Roland Quandt, this earphone is priced at 319.99 euros in Europe which is 15% more expensive than the previous generation of 279 euros.
Sony says the new drive unit in the WF-1000XM5 provides “richer vocals” and better sound detail output, also supports HiRes Audio and DSEE Extreme, and is expected to feature “Dynamic Driver X” technology.
According to the whistleblower, each earphone is equipped with three microphones, which can more accurately detect ambient noise, clean up background noise, and provide clearer call quality.
In addition, Sony WF-1000XM5 integrates bone conduction sensors and precise voice pickup technology, which can perfectly capture the wearer’s voice during calls even in noisy environments.
The charging case for the new ANC earphones is equipped with a 500mAh battery, which extends the total play time of the earphones to 24 hours.
