Sony to release upgraded ZV1 camera in May, A6700 expected in early July

According to sonyalpharumors, Sony will release an updated version of the ZV1 camera at the end of May. In addition, a new lens is expected to be released in June, and an A6700 camera could be released in early July.

The Sony VLOG camera ZV-1 was officially released in May 2020 with a debut of CNY 5,199.

The camera features a one-inch CMOS with a 20.1-megapixel effective lens and an equivalent focal length of 24-70mm and can shoot 4K video. The ZV-1 also features a one-touch quick background bokeh conversion, a 3-inch foldable flip LCD, a windscreen and a built-in microphone. The ZV-1 does not come with a Type-C connector, uses the same NP-BX1 battery as the RX100 and weighs around 294 grams.

The A6700 is expected to be an updated version of the A6600 released in 2019, positioned as a high-end APS-C camera, and is expected to feature the latest CMOS and processor for a significant increase in performance.
