Sony to launch a variety of third-party games for PlayStation 5

A few days ago, news broke that Sony intends to hold a State of Play live event in February or March of this year, followed by a PlayStation Showcase in May of this year.

The latest news suggests that Sony will be releasing a lot of exclusive first-party and third-party game content this year, and the third-party games look very promising, as they will likely be announced in the near future, possibly at the State of Play live event mentioned above.

Well-known uncle party @TheSnitch revealed that Sony PlayStation is about to announce third-party content, but unfortunately, he didn’t offer any hints about the new titles, but this certainly draws players’ attention to the State of Play once again.

In September 2022, Sony brought a lot of high-profile game content to the last State of Play, such as Tekken 8, God of War Twilight, Street Fighter 6, and the PS VR2 project, among others.

But so far, we haven’t seen any rumors about big third-party games other than the rumors of the return of the Alloy Gear series, so you might want to look forward to what Sony will announce next.

Considering that Sony’s PS VR2 will be released on February 22, 2023, we can assume that this State of Play will most likely take place before February 22, and will probably include several VR games, especially the debut of PS VR2 and games in development.

It’s worth mentioning that Microsoft has announced that it will hold an Xbox Direct on January 26 this year, which will bring new content including The Elder Scrolls Online, The Ultimate Racing Series, My World Legends and Red Haze Island, and more.
