Game industry reporter Jeff Grubb said in his latest tweet that Sony plans to hold a PlayStation Showcase 2023 event on June 8.
Sony’s PlayStation Showcase 2022 event was held in June last year, so this news should be plausible.: But given that today is April Fool’s Day, we can’t rule out the possibility that he’s making it up.
If the news is true, more on Sony’s upcoming Spider-Man 2, as well as some information on Naughty Dog’s upcoming standalone multiplayer game. Last month, the voice actor for Venom in Spider-Man 2 said the game would be released this September with a “massive promotion” this August.
