According to the introduction, the Sony Select DXD streaming area is now online in the Android client.

Sony said that DXD (Digital eXtreme Definition) technology has further improved the sampling accuracy of the sound signal, the music information is greater, making the sound heard by the listener more realistic, the user experience is also more immersive. The first batch of DXD music on the platform has already reached more than a thousand songs, and the content of the library will be added one after another. Sony Select Premium members can enjoy this sound quality upgrade for free. In addition to enjoying DXD music up to 384kHz / 24bit online, Premium members can also listen to 360 live sound content, audiobook content online, enjoy listening scene interoperability, priority registration for Sony Fan activities and other rights.

Sony selected in 2020 to launch a 192kHz / 24bit format streaming music service, now 384kHz / 24bit will bring more high quality.
