Sony announced two new CFexpress Type A memory cards, the CEA-G320T and CEA-G640T, both of which are high-capacity memory cards that support high-speed read and write performance. The products have a maximum write speed of 700MB/s, support VPG400 video performance speed certification, can record video at a steady 400MB/s and support 4K/120p high bit rate video capture.

Thanks to the high speed, it is capable of high-speed continuous shooting of over 1000 uncompressed RAW images, as well as shooting 4K/120fps and HD/240fps.

The TOUGH specification means it is waterproof, dustproof (IP57) and rugged certified for long-term stable recording in a variety of environments.

What’s more, the new CFexpress Type A memory card is equipped with a heat-counting tab, which uses SOKI’s metal material with excellent thermal conductivity to transfer the heat generated by the card to the outside when transferring large amounts of data at high speeds, allowing users to record 4K/120p video whiskers for long periods of time.

It should be noted that the CFexpress Type A memory card is smaller and thicker than a conventional SD card, with the following dimensions.

The CEA-G320T will be available in early October 2022 at a suggested retail price of RMB 4,999, while the CEA-G640T will be available in late October at a retail price of RMB 8,999.

Previously, Sony launched the CEA-G80T and CEA-G160T, which are currently priced at RMB 2,199 and RMB 3,299 respectively.
