Sony PlayStation 4 host recently ushered in the 10.50 version of the system firmware update, which brought some minor improvements.

Summary updates are as follows:

Users can access authorized apps in Settings. Authorized Apps are third-party apps and services that the user has linked a PlayStation Network account to. When using an authorized app, the user grants permission to share account data with that app. To view and manage authorized apps, you can go to “Settings” > “Account Management” > “Authorized Apps” and scan the QR code with your mobile device.

Friends who are active on the PlayStation app will now appear online in the friends list.

Unicode 15.0 emoji can now be displayed.

Users can see cross-platform players in a game session.

The Sony PS5 version 7.0 update has also been launched simultaneously, bringing more features, including the PS5 host integrated Discord voice chat system, providing VRR (variable refresh rate) support for 1440p resolution.
