Sony PlayStation: Four more games coming to the PC

In pursuit of a more diverse revenue stream, first-party PlayStation games are no longer exclusive to consoles, and Sony is making a big push into the PC market. Sony has brought some high-profile PlayStation exclusives to the PC platform, including Horizon: Zero Dawn, Days Gone, God of War, and Marvel’s Spider-Man, and this is just the beginning.

Sony will release four PS5 games on Steam and the Epic store, including Uncharted: A Rogue Legacy Collection (October 19), Sackboy Adventures (October 27), Marvel’s Spider-Man: Myer Smallales (released this fall), as well as Dead Return, are coming to PC.

The first three games are all set to launch in 2022, but Sony has yet to announce the PC version of Dead Return, nor a PC release date.

Sony’s big push into the PC market has brought in significant revenue for its gaming division. The company expects to earn about $300 million from PC gaming in fiscal 2022, driven by continued sales of old and new games. Sony is also counting on PC game sales to increase over time as it does on the PlayStation, only this time it has to pay Valve a share of the sales.
