Sony hires new project manager to push PS5 to the next stage

@Zuby_Tech found that Sony has updated their PlayStation job listings and they are looking for a new project manager worldwide to launch a highly impactful project solution that will open the next chapter of PS5 worldwide.

Prior to this, uncle party @Tom Henderson had revealed that the new PS5 with detachable optical drive would be launched in September this year, replacing the existing PS5 model, while the rumored Sony PS5 Pro (unnamed) was under development and tentatively scheduled for release at the end of 2024.

In addition, a new patent recently released by PlayStation chief architect Mark Cerney hints that SIE is figuring out how to improve the performance of light tracing in its games. Insider Gaming believes that this so-called PS5 Pro, like the PS4 upgrade to PS4 Pro, will also bring enhanced graphics performance and faster loading speeds.

The UK and EU are investigating Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard, and they found that the next generation PlayStation, and possibly PS6, will not be released until at least 2028, so it is indeed likely that this PS5 half-generation upgrade will be released within those two years.
