Sony officially announced that it will hold a news conference on March 29, and is expected to release the previously exposed ZV-E1 camera, the main Vlog function.

Detailed specifications of the ZV-E1 full-frame camera are as follows:

  • Based on the Sony A7sIII
  • Uses the same 12-megapixel sensor as the A7sIII
  • Supports 4k60 and 4k 120 (no crop), 120p mode may be available via a firmware update at a later date
  • Does not support pixel merging
  • 409k ISO
  • Adopts the A7rV’s autofocus system and has a better detection system
  • The current model has overheating issues
  • Many new AI features, very innovative
  • Similar body style to the ZV-E10, but the same size as the A7C with some FX3 elements
  • The price is just under $2500 (currently about RMB 17,250)
