Some users have reported delays in the delivery of Apple Watch Ultra orders

The new Apple Watch Ultra will go on sale this Friday (Sept. 23), but some customers who ordered the watch have found their estimated delivery date has been delayed by Apple. It’s unclear how many customers have been affected or what the reason for the delay is.

According to MacRumors, several users have reported delays in their orders, including those in the United States. In one case, an order expected to be delivered by September 29 has now been delayed to arrive on October 12, while another order expected to be delivered between September 29 and October 6 has been delayed to October 4 to October 11.

The Apple Watch Ultra is priced at $799 ($6,299 for China) and has been available for pre-order since September 9. While not yet reflected on Apple’s website, some of the first orders have been marked as “shipped” by the UPS tracking tool.

All configurations of the Apple Watch Ultra include a natural-colored titanium case and cellular connectivity. The only customizable aspect is the band, which includes three color options: Wild Trail Loopback, Alpine Loopback, and Ocean Band.
