About to enter the fourth quarter of 2023, flagship models from various manufacturers such as Xiaomi 14 series, Samsung Galaxy S24 and iQOO 12 may be unveiled during this time period. For Android flagship phones, the GPU performance of the mobile SoC is inseparable from the gaming experience. Recently, the Geekbench 6 Vulkan running score of the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor leaked out, and the score performance is very impressive.

Previously, the user “Revegnus” on the chip scored 15,434 points, an improvement of about 50% from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2’s score of about 9,000-10,000 points. It seems that the Qualcomm camp’s Android mobile phone game performance will continue to lead the iPhone next year.

It seems that the mobile phone market next year will still be as crazy as this year. The paper performance of 8Gen 3 is certainly strong, but in many cases, the mobile gaming experience does not only emphasize the peak performance of the GPU. The heat dissipation capacity of the mobile phone, the reading speed of the memory, the display effect of the screen, and system optimization are all factors that can directly affect the gaming experience. So to talk about the real performance of 8Gen 3 mobile phones, we still have to wait until the first models are released before further evaluation.
